The communities of Amsterdam & Churchill, Montana are located west of Belgrade, just about a mile from one another. This small, rural community is centered around farming and ranching and holds true to its religious roots.
Amsterdam was founded in 1911 and was named after the large number of Dutch settlers who called the area home. The lasting landmark and namesake of Churchill is the Manhattan Christian Reformed Church, standing on atop a hill just east of Amsterdam. This monument is representative of the religious background of the community that still thrives today.
This town has a wonderful friendly feel and what makes it even better are the plenty of recreation opportunities just outside your door. From hunting and fishing to exploring the open landscape, you will find plenty to do in this beautiful area.
